Salary: $33 – $34.75 per hour
These positions require you to work within a highly experienced Arboriculture team, undertaking programmed maintenance and tree management or Tree planting & Watering based at their Ravenhall depot.
Core responsibilities (role dependant)
- Perform tree maintenance/removal using both hand tools and chainsaws.
- MR Truck driving
- Groundwork maintenance-Stump grinding, weed management, staking, mulching etc
- Chipper Operation
- Chainsaw maintenance and pre-operational checks of all equipment
- Tree Planting
- Pruning trees from both the ground and aerially (using an EWP if licenced).
Skills and experience
- MR/HR licence, highly desirable (manual licence)
- Chainsaw licence- essential
- Working with Childrens Check – essential
- A desire to work in the outdoors
- Excellent physical fitness and stamina to handle the physical demands of the role
- A positive, team-oriented attitude and a willingness to learn and adapt
- Strong commitment to following all health and safety protocols and procedures
- Current Victorian Drivers Licence
