Location: Salisbury Plain, Adelaide SA

Salary: $33 – $36 per hour
About the Role
This is a hands-on position involving:
- Machining and processing all hardwood timber and mouldings
- Operating various timber-processing equipment and workshop machinery
- Cutting LVL beams using a chainsaw (chainsaw ticket desirable but not essential, as full training can be provided)
- General yard duties including picking orders, loading/unloading timber, and maintaining a safe, organised workspace
- Working both independently and as part of a team to meet production timelines and customer requirements
Please note: Overtime is not available for this position.
What We’re Looking For
- Experience in timber machining, carpentry, sawmilling, or similar (preferred but not mandatory)
- Ability to use hand and power tools safely and confidently
- Willingness to learn, follow instructions, and develop new skills
- Physically fit and comfortable working in a workshop/yard environment
- Ability to perform heavy lifting of 20kg or more as required for timber handling and yard operations
- Commitment to workplace safety, including participating in routine drug and alcohol testing
- Must be an Australian permanent resident or citizen
