Roster Consultant

    Location: Melbourne VIC (Remote)

    Salary: $33 – $35 per hour

    About the Role

    As we continue to grow, we are looking for a Rostering Officer who thrives in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment. This is a remote, full-time position (12-month fixed-term contract with the potential to become permanent), offering flexible hours within a rotating 7-day roster, including days, nights, weekends, and public holidays. 

    This is not your average admin role; it is a critical operational position requiring precision, urgency, and sound judgement to ensure seamless service delivery and exceptional 24-hour client care across every day of the year.

    What You Will Do

    • Build, manage, and maintain complex staff rosters using industry-standard rostering software
    • Respond quickly to last-minute changes, cancellations, and coverage gaps
    • Communicate roster updates to clinical staff, clients, and internal teams clearly and promptly
    • Liaise with our clinical staff, clients, and managers to ensure optimal staffing
    • Support rostering with accurate documentation and reporting
    • Manage competing demands with calmness, clarity, and professionalism


    What You Will Bring

    • Ability to perform under pressure and manage time-critical priorities
    • Comfortable working autonomously from home with strong tech skills
    • Previous rostering or workforce scheduling experience (healthcare preferred but not essential)
    • Strong organisational and interpersonal skills, with the ability to adapt in dynamic fast-paced and pressurised environments
    • Must have no actual or perceived conflicts of interest that could impact the impartiality and integrity of this role.

    Essential Requirements

    • National Police Clearance
    • Must have a NDIS Worker Screen
    • Stable and secure internet connection
    • Experience in healthcare or NDIS is highly desirable
    • Legal right to work in Australia (must live in Australia)
    • Availability to work across a 7-day rotating roster, including weekends and public holidays
    • Strong verbal communication skills are essential, including the ability to speak clearly and confidently.
