Location: Heathwood, Brisbane QLD
Job Type: Casual/Vacation
Salary: $30 – $33 per hour
Key Responsibilities
- Start, operate, and shut down machinery safely and efficiently.
- Monitor machinery to ensure it runs smoothly during the shift.
- Perform basic troubleshooting and report mechanical issues to maintenance teams.
- Conduct changeovers between different product batches or packaging formats
- Handling raw meats such as pork, lamb beef
- Working in a pre-packed meat processing facility
- Onsite training provided
What are we looking for?
- Previous experience in a manufacturing environment
- Food or meat handling exposure is desirable but not essential
- Willing to work within a cold room environment (7 degrees)
- Willing to work with raw meat products (beef, lamb & pork)
- Strong literacy and numeracy skills
- Ability to work within a team-based environment
- Ability to provide proof of working rights in Australia
