About the Role
You will provide on-site and remote IT support to staff, maintain IT systems, and assist in the development, deployment, and improvement of Little Lion’s mobile app for parents. You will play a key role in supporting educators and families with technology that enables communication, learning, and community engagement.
Key responsibilities include:
· Providing on-site and remote Level 1-2 IT support to staff across NSW centres.
· Installing, configuring, and maintaining end-user devices, network infrastructure, and software systems.
· Troubleshooting IT issues and escalating as required.
· Supporting cloud services, email systems, and Microsoft 365 applications.
· Collaborating on the design, development, and maintenance of Little Lion’s parent mobile application.
· Implementing features for the app, including:
o Parent communication and messaging
o Community posts and announcements
o Fortnightly newsletters
o Photo sharing and downloads of children’s learning moments
o Access to online free courses, preschool seminars, and resources
· Ensuring software updates, testing, and bug fixes are completed efficiently.
· Maintaining accurate documentation, inventories, and IT policies.
· Assisting with cybersecurity and data protection measures to safeguard sensitive information.
· Participating in IT projects, including infrastructure upgrades and app enhancements.
· Providing training and support to educators and families to ensure effective use of the app.
About You
You are a technically skilled IT professional who enjoys combining support with development. You thrive on building software solutions that improve user experience and operational efficiency. You are proactive, collaborative, and eager to make a meaningful impact on early learning technology.
Essential:
· Minimum 1-3 years’ experience in IT support or IT officer role.
· Experience with software development, mobile apps, or web applications (front-end and/or back-end).
· Strong skills in Windows and Mac OS support, Microsoft 365, and mobile device management.
· Experience with networking, hardware maintenance, and troubleshooting IT systems.
· Excellent communication skills and customer service mindset.
· Valid driver’s license and ability to travel between NSW centres.
Desirable:
· Experience with Intune, Azure/Entra, or cloud-based education systems.
· Knowledge of mobile app development frameworks (React Native, Flutter, or similar).
· Technical certifications such as Microsoft 365 Fundamentals, CompTIA A+, or ITIL Foundation.
· Previous experience in multi-site or education sector IT support.
