What will this look like on a day-to day-basis?
You will be:
- Providing responsive and friendly IT support (both in-person and remote) across the organisation
- Troubleshooting for Windows, MacOS, Android and iOS devices, Microsoft 365 apps, telecommunications and network connectivity issues
- Delivering training in-person and online and creating helpful resources to streamline incident resolution and share knowledge
- Administering and maintaining systems, identifying required updates or system changes
- Managing software licencing compliance, implementing disaster recovery procedures and configuring new software applications
- Building and maintaining integrations between business systems
- Managing IT assets including procurement, maintenance, de-commissioning and secure disposal
- Supporting and leading technology projects and system upgrades
- Ensuring cybersecurity, compliance, and operational excellence
What skills and experience do you need to be an ICT Officer?
This position is best suited to someone who:
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in similar IT role including service desk and technical support
- Experience or qualifications in Microsoft Azure ecosystem (i.e., Azure, Azure Active Directory, Intune & Defender), Server infrastructure and Office Microsoft 365 administration
- Experience or qualification in ITIL Service Management Framework V4
- Excellent communication skills with an ability to translate highly technical language, building rapport quickly and proactively problem-solve with a variety of stakeholders
- Demonstrated ability self-manage with excellent time and prioritization skills
- Demonstrated emotional intelligence, specifically resilience, empathy and calm under pressure
Desirable:
- Experience in the Aged Care Sector or NDIS sectors with experience in administering software systems used by those industries
- Certifications in Microsoft technology stack and network infrastructure (CompTIA Network+, Cisco CCNA, or similar)
- Experience with virtualization technology such as VMware or Hyper-V
- Cybersecurity awareness or certification
