Salary: $40 – $50 per hour
We are seeking a skilled Tow Truck Driver/Operator to join our team and help us meet the needs of our clients. This is an on-call position, requiring flexibility and availability for weekend and night shifts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and drive heavy-duty tow trucks safely and efficiently
- Know and adhere to the towing capacity and limits for each truck
- Understand and effectively use the equipment on the truck
- Drive long distances when required
- Comply with industry regulations related to towing
- Ensure all tasks are completed safely and professionally
- Start and finish shifts from home
- Maintain a clean driving record
- Assist in the recovery of heavy vehicles and equipment (training provided)
Requirements:
- Hold an MC Driver’s License
- Good mechanical knowledge
- Familiarity with the surrounding area
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Previous experience in Heavy Recovery is preferred, but not essential
- Clean driving record and commitment to safety
- Availability for on-call shifts, including weekends and nights
- Requires basic understanding level of mechanical knowledge
