About the role
Brisk Transport is seeking experienced Furniture Removalists to join our team in Geebung, Queensland. This is a casual position, offering the flexibility to work as and when required. As a Furniture Removalist, you will play a vital role in the efficient and safe transportation of furniture and belongings for our residential and commercial customers.
What you’ll be doing
- Carefully packing, loading, and unloading furniture and belongings onto and off our removal vehicles
- Driving removal vehicles with a medium rigid (MR) licence or assisting the driver as an offsider
- Providing excellent customer service and ensuring a smooth, stress-free moving experience for all clients
- Adhering to all safety protocols and procedures to prevent damage to property and equipment
- Maintaining the cleanliness and roadworthiness of our removal vehicles
- Packing Clients goods into boxes (pre packers only)
What we’re looking for
- At least 1 years’ experience in furniture removal or a similar manual handling role
- A valid medium rigid (MR) driver’s licence for those wishing to drive our vehicles
- Strong customer service skills and the ability to work well in a team
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to follow safety procedures
- Physical fitness and the ability to lift and manoeuvre heavy furniture and belongings
- A positive, can-do attitude and the willingness to go the extra mile for our customers
