Loader Operators and Tipper Driver

    About the role

    David L Ormsby Haulage Pty Ltd, a leading construction company in Sydney, is seeking experienced Loader Operators to join our team. In this full-time position, you will be responsible for operating heavy machinery such as front-end loaders and Tipper Driver working on Sydney Trains work sites.

    What you’ll be doing

    1. Safely operate and maintain a range of heavy construction equipment, including front-end loaders.
    2. Load and unload materials, move earth, and assist with various construction tasks
    3. Perform pre-operational checks and routine maintenance on assigned equipment
    4. Ensure compliance with all relevant safety regulations and company policies
    5. Work collaboratively with the construction crew to complete projects on time and to a high standard

    What we’re looking for

    1. Minimum 2 years’ experience operating heavy construction equipment such as front-end loaders and Tipper Driver with experience with Road Ranger
    2. Valid driver’s licence and relevant construction equipment licenses or certifications
    3. Front-end loader licence specifically required for this position
    4. White Card certification is mandatory for this position
    5. Strong safety-focused mindset and the ability to work in a team environment
    6. Australian citizenship or permanent residency is required for this role
    7. Good problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure
    8. Willingness to work overtime and on weekends as required
    9. Rail Safety Worker Card, Medical Clearance, and Track Safety Training are essential for working on Sydney Trains sites
    10. Rail Safety Worker Card and Track Safety Training must be obtained before starting employment
