Account Officer

    Location: Laverton North, Melbourne VIC

    Job Type: Full time

    Salary: $67,000 – $72,000 per year

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Process accounts payable duties, including preparing purchase orders, managing invoices, setting up new vendor accounts, reconciling company credit card payments, and preparing payment lists.
    • Support accounts receivable tasks, including banking, payment allocation, and invoicing.
    • Assist the customer service team by answering phone calls, entering customer orders, and addressing customer inquiries.

    Requirements:

    • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage both accounts and customer service duties efficiently.
    • Previous experience in a similar role with accounts payable responsibilities and proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
    • Excellent communication skills with a keen eye for detail.
    • Experience in accounts receivable and customer service is an added bonus.
